Melissa Joseph, Mentoring & Alum Program Coordinator

Melissa Joseph is a first generation American and college graduate. With immigrant parents hailing from Haiti, Melissa always knew she wanted to serve and represent her communities in a myriad of ways. She comes to Yleana Leadership Foundation with five years of experience in college access, specifically in financial aid. Her previous roles equipped her with tools and knowledge to not only navigate the difficult landscape of the financial aid process, but also ensure that students and families are making the best decisions to lead them down the most affordable pathway to and through college. Melissa holds two music degrees in Vocal Performance from Georgia State University and is an avid performer.
