Alyssa is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Yleana Leadership Foundation, which fights the cycle of entrenched poverty - breaking the correlation between race/ethnicity and socioeconomic status.

We change Black and brown students’ economic outcomes by getting them into more selective colleges - so that they get (1) better financial aid/start life with less debt and (2) earn two to three times higher salaries.
